Multi spring balance & unbalance back to back mechanical seal ME280D / ME285D series are developed for universal application. Their compact design makes them suitable for use in all types of Centrifugal Pumps. Torque transmission from retainer shell to seal ring is done through drive lugs. All components are held together by a Snap Ring which makes installation and removal easily. As all parts are interchangeable, so secondary seal ‘O’ Ring can be converted into the ‘PTFE’ by changing only the Seal Ring and the Elastomer. The concept is ideal for stock realization. This seals are factory assembled and dynamically tested.

Product Details:

Type MI250C is a multiple spring high-performance seal specially developed for Slurry application. The springs are protected from the Media by means of dynamic ‘O’ Ring. Although being a balanced seal it doesn’t require step on Sleeve. The Sleeve of the un-balance Seal can be used for this seal series without modification. Torque transmission to the seal ring is given by strong multiple drive Pins/Lugs. This seal can be run against many different stationary seal rings for maximum flexibility in many applications. This seal has a balanced O-Ring design with anti-clog features, springs out of the fluid and dynamic O-Ring moves on a clean surface. The concept is ideal for stock realization. This seal are factory assembled and dynamically tested.

Multi Spring Reverse Pressure Balanced mechanical seal Type MR220 is a multiple spring externally mounted reverse pressure balanced seal with ‘O’ Ring as secondary seal. Various seal face materials and elastomers can be offered for wide service application. This seal can also be used for corrosive services as the metallic components do not come in contact with liquid to be sealed. This seal can also be installed in double back to back arrangement as an internal seal, even if barrier fluid pressure goes down, this seal  will now allow process fluid to mix with barrier fluid, hence it is called Reverse Pressure Balanced Seal.
